The Ada County Coroner's Office has identified the 19-year-old who died following a tubing crash on Lucky Peak reservoir over the weekend.

Officials say Armin Cehic and another man were being pulled behind a boat on a tube when it appears the 19-year-old let go of the tube when it got near the shore and crashed into the rocks. Another man, also on the tube, continued to hold onto the tube, which cushioned him when he also hit the rocks, causing him to avoid injury.

The teen and man being pulled by a boat driven by his father near Goose Neck Bay when the tube swung toward the rocky shore of the reservoir.

Deputies say the people on the boat got the severely injured teen onto the boat and immediately began CPR. Paramedics and a doctor then took over when the boat reached Barclay Bay, but he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The sheriff's office says the crash in still under investigation but no citations have been issued at this time. Deputies also say that alcohol was not a factor.
