anonymous Jul 26th 2022 !⃝I am 26 years old and I just came to know for the first time of my life that I have autism. It made a bunch of things in my life to make sense all of a sudden.
But so far I've dealt with my life the way it was one way or another, and now suddenly have to deal with this? do i want to deal with this?
"I need a short term fix for a long term problem" sounds right how i feel.
And it makes me mad to know so much could've been different for me if only I knew. If only the people around me who knew would have told me. If only my parents could have gotten me help, instead of choosing to ignore it because they wanted me to live like anyone else.
It's like a spark that quickly turned into a wildfire.
And now I feel Resentment.
