It's been more than a year since 92-year-old Darwyn Hope of Boise was reported missing by his family.

Boise Police issued several alerts to the community in the summer of 2016 to help spread the word of his disappearance. Now, nearly 15 months later, Hope is still missing and there's been few updates from police.

"The simple fact that no one has found Darwyn Hope or his vehicle makes us suspicious that there is foul play involved with (his) disappearance," a Boise PD spokesperson told KBOI 2News.

According to the Thin Air Podcast, which focuses on national missing persons cases but is Boise-based, family members say their father was dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts before he went missing.

At the time, police say Hope enjoyed visiting McCall or other locations in Valley County.

Anyone with information about Hope is asked to call 208-343-COPS.
