Candy Spelling is making a surprising revelation.
The 77-year-old author, theater producer and philanthropist made an appearance on Jeff Lewis Live on SiriusXM.
During the appearance, Candy revealed that her first husband was gay, and that she didn't know when they got married.
Before Aaron Spelling, Candy was married first to Howard Frederick Leveson from 1963 to 1964 at the age of 17.
"It sort of didn't work out. Obviously. He died last year," she said.
"Um, well, he was, uh...it turned out that he was a latent gay," she continued, adding, "I didn't know that."
As far as the clues, she said: "Maybe in the two and a half years, we had sexual relations six times," adding that she took it personally at the time.

To be fair, most men would not want to have sex with Candy more than 3 times a year.

What exactly is a 'latent gay'? It sounds really old fashioned.

Didn't one of the gossip books mention her being into female hookers?
And Nolan Miller lived in her house for years.

It was quite nice of him to let Candy keep one of his fancier caftans.

R9 I believe it was in Once More With Feeling (the 2nd book of You'll Never Make Love In This Town Again) that a hooker was hired by Candy Spelling. She wrote that Candy treated her very well, served her champagne and caviar, and had lesbian sex like a pro.
Also, Aaron Spelling answered the door and knew what she was there for. He was also very nice to her.

John Dodds, a literary agent, editor and publisher. I knew him casually when we both worked for the same publisher in New York. He was quite old at the time and Vivian had been dead for a while.
