R4 "Happiest Girl" was her best-known song. But she had several others including "Funny Face" and a cover of "Don't Be Angry."

She was no Sandy Posey...

I always confuse her with Lynn Anderson.

They weren't in the same superstar class in the early 70s as Tammy Wynette or Loretta Lynn, but they both had monster hits back then that helped define the era.

You're right, R16! It's not every lyricist that has the sheer audacity to rhyme "bear" with "bear".
