Controversial livestreamer Dr Disrespect is no stranger to speaking his mind, but his latest opinionated tirade has left a bitter taste in the mouths of Fortnite players.
The top streamer, known for his battle royale streams and for his outspoken opinions, recently took to the interwebs to rant about the genre again: this time focusing on Epic Games’ Fortnite.
Dr Disrespect not only took shots at the game itself, but also its players following a loss which saw him annihilated by the oncoming storm.
He ranted [via Dexerto]: “Get me the f*ck off this stupid f*cking game…I’m not interested in it anymore…Get it off my computer, I don’t want phoneyness.”
While uninstalling the game from his PC, he proceeded to tell his viewers: “If you play Fortnite and you’re over the age of 13 years old, you’ve got a psychological problem, there’s something wrong with you, wake up!”
Of course, the outburst was met with a lot of criticism online. One user tweeted: “Tbh no one gives a sh*t what @drdisrespect thinks he b*tched about fortnite when he played it apex blackout n now mw soon shut up when @ProSyndicate had something to say dude needs to stop crying and find something better to do or get better at the games it kinda sad.”
Another said: “ANYONE WEARING A COSTUME AND PLAYING VIDEO GAMES AND STREAMING CONTENT HAS SERIOUS ISSUES AND NEEDS AN INTERVENTION. Jerk.”
Some people agreed with the comments though, with one person tweeting that the streamer’s words weren’t wrong.
I guess we won’t be seeing any Fortnite from Dr Disrespect for a while…
