BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic begins Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Ann Morrison Park.

Wednesday, Aug. 28
- 7:00 a.m. - Balloons are in Ann Morrison Park
- 7:40 a.m. - Balloons inflate and provide free tethered rides to children
Thursday, Aug. 29
- 6:45 a.m. - Balloons are in Ann Morrison Park
- 7:20 a.m. - Balloons take off from Ann Morrison Park
Friday, Aug. 30
- 6:45 a.m. - Balloons are in Ann Morrison Park
- 7:20 a.m. - Balloons take off from Ann Morrison Park
- 7:30 p.m. - "Nite Glow" activities begin with food, vendors and live music
- 8:45 p.m. - "Nite Glow Spectacular" begins
Saturday, Aug. 31
- 6:45 a.m. - Balloons are in Ann Morrison Park
- 7:20 a.m. - Balloons take off from Ann Morrison Park
Sunday, Sept. 1

Here are some tips to help you enjoy the event:
- Leave your pets at home. The burners powering the balloons make an inaudible sound to people, but it hurts your pets' ears.
- Take lots of pictures. The pilots and crew are happy to be part of your photos.
- Drones are not allowed.
- Do not step on the balloons.
- Lawn chairs are welcome, just be ready to move your chair if a pilot or crewmember asks you to.
