How to play XDefiant beta

XDefiant is a competitive arena shooter that emphasizes gunplay and teamwork. Players can choose from various factions and their unique abilities to emerge victorious in a match.

The closed beta is only available to a select few who have been granted access. Fans who want to experience how the game feels before its launch have to enroll themselves in the closed beta.

Ways to get the XDefiant Beta code

The beta is only available to players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players can receive closed beta keys by watching XDefiant-partnered streamers on Twitch for at least 30 minutes. Now to receive the Twitch Drop, users need to link their Twitch account with their Ubisoft account if they are playing on console.

Another way players can sign up for the XDefiant beta is for them to register themselves on Ubisoft’s website. But there’s no guarantee whether you will get access to the beta.

Factions

Ubisoft’s XDefiant will have five different factions for players to choose from. These are Libertad, Cleaners, Phantoms, Echelon, and DedSec. However, DedSec will only be available later on.

Game Modes

So far XDefiant has 4 game modes that players can try in unranked. These are Escort, Domination, Zone Central and Occupy.

With the first impressions already being a positive one for Ubisoft’s new venture into the Arena Battle Royale game mode, gaming community is already making comparisons with its peers. Whether this new approach by Ubisoft is a success will have to wait for the game to officially make it into the market.
