Riot has revealed the upcoming legendary skin, Inkshadow Master Yi, which will release in patch 13.9.
We have received many skins for Worlds and the All-Stars event in previous years. Not too long ago, Riot announced in their dev log that they would also be making an exclusive skin line for MSI.
MSI, or Mid-Season Invitational, is the year’s second-biggest League of Legends event. In this event 13 best teams from all over the world compete against each other.
Usually, during MSI, we used to get the Conqueror skins. Though the skins look good individually, fans wanted something more unique. Moreover, Riot skipped making a Conqueror skin in 2022 instead of opting to make the last iteration of High Noon. But since Riot now confirmed they would be making a new exclusive skin line for MSI, fans were waiting for what Riot was creating behind the scenes.
And as MSI is just around the corner, Riot has unveiled the exclusive skin line for MSI, Inkshadow. This skin line will feature eight new skins, and the legendary skin of this set is Inkshadow Master Yi.
Master Yi is one of the oldest champions in the game. Even so, he remains one of the most popular champions in every ELO. As a matter of fact, currently the rank one player in EUW, Sinerias is a Master Yi one trick.
When it comes to cosmetics, Master Yi has been receiving one skin each year since 2020. However, his last legendary skin, Project: Yi, was released in 2015. Inkshadow Master Yi will be Yi’s second legendary skin released, which might even be his best skin.
