The Academy Award-winning animated feature Zootopia was a big hit with fans, and most of them are probably wondering if the spinoff series Zootopia+ is available to stream on Netflix.
The delightful tale of a rabbit police officer named Judy Hopps and a con artist fox named Nick Wilde putting their differences aside to take down an evil conspiracy was a massive hit at the box office, making over $1 billion worldwide. The success of the feature has inevitably led to the expansion of the franchise, resulting in the six-episode series Zootopia+.
The well-crafted and visually impressive anthology series will showcase a slew of hilarious characters getting up to all kinds of engaging ordeals and adventures. Entries will apparently include fun-filled parody stories from genres such as film noir, action, and romantic comedy. There is even a fun take on the Real Housewives franchise.
The episodes have reasonable runtimes that range from nine to 12 minutes in length, making every moment of Zootopia+ an easy-to-absorb experience that will undoubtedly be pleasantly entertaining from start to finish. But is it an option for Netflix subscribers?
While there is really no denying it would be nice to watch any kind of continuation of Zootopia, members of the popular streamer should brace for the bad news. Zootopia+ is not available on Netflix, and it seems that might never change.
Luckily the streaming powerhouse is never lacking when it comes to excellent animated entertainment, and there is plenty of magnificent options. Some of the stellar choices ready to watch for subscribers now include Over the Moon, The Willoughbys, Wish Dragon, and The Mitchells vs. the Machines.
Zootopia+ is available on Disney+. It joins a lineup that includes Tales of the Jedi, Baymax!, and Dug Days.
