Jeff Teague reveals NBA kickboxer who knocked out three dudes at one time

On the podcast, Jeff Teague stated that he played with veteran forward James Johnson for two years at Wake Forest University. Teague knew enough about Johnson not to mess with him. He stated that Johnson had a black belt in karate, and was practicing kickboxing, and even knew about mixed martial arts. As such, during his time in the league had the role of an enforcer for any team he played for.

Teague played with Johnson only for 2 years and then put his name in the NBA draft in 2009. He was picked by the Atlanta Hawks in the first round. Teague averaged 12.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 5.6 assists in his career. He even went on to win a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks.

James Johnson is considered one of the most dangerous players in the NBA. Johnson was a real fighter and had achievements in many combat sports. The league once even voted Johnson as one of the most dangerous superstars in the NBA.

During the “OG’s” Podcast, Heat coach Udonis Haslem and Heat star Bam Adebayo talked about Johnson beating up his Heat teammate. Udonis Haslem didn’t disclose the name of the teammate Johnson beat. UD said that the teammate called Johnson a bi**h which made Johnson furious. Haslem even stated that the Heat locker room was like a scene from the Hunger Games as the fight that had taken place was not a pretty sight. Haslem revealed the two superstars hugged it out later.

Bam Adebayo revealed that the fight was all sorted and everyone was at peace. Johnson played with the Miami Heat for a span of three years between 2017 to 2020. He was an important piece to the Heat as he had the role of the enforcer of the team.
