JoJo Siwa has made it very clear that kissing boys, whether it be in real-life or on-screen is completely in the past.

The 17-year-old is tapped to play Franny, a teen who wishes to trade her family for another on Christmas, in the upcoming film Bounce. Based on the book written by Megan Shull, Siwa’s character will experience Christmas Eve on repeat as her wish is granted to try out different families.

In the script, there is a kissing scene with a male co-star, however, JoJo has been trying to remove the scene as she told Entertainment Weekly, “I’m madly in love and I do not want to kiss another human, especially because it’s a man.”

Although her girlfriend of six months, Kylie Prew, told JoJo that she is fine with the scene, the actress, singer and dancer wants it removed because she feels as if her fans won’t see the scene as an actress playing her part in the script and film, but instead see it as her kissing someone else.

Siwa has a strong feeling that the kissing scene will be pulled as she tells EW, “I’m not about it. I’m trying to get it pulled so bad. It’ll happen. It’ll get pulled.”

Very determined to pull the scene out of the movie, JoJo took to Twitter to share additional thoughts on the situation. Although Bounce does not have a set release date yet, the flick is set to drop later this year through Will Smith’s Westbrook production company.

My friends at paramount and my friend Caleeb Pinkett are 1000% supportive of me and assured me that I don’t have to do anything I don’t wanna do ever!!! I’m so excited to make the movie “Bounce” and couldn’t have better people to make it with!!🎥❤️

In January, JoJo began opening up to her fans about her identity by posting TikToks with members of the Pride House LA, followed by a TikTok on her own page confirming she was gay. She then went live on Instagram to discuss more about her coming out, and she excitedly said, “I have never, ever, ever been this happy before.”

Later on, Siwa appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to reveal that she was in a relationship, followed by revealing her girlfriend, Kylie Prew, in an Instagram post in February.
