Kendrick Lamar officially accepted the Pulitzer Prize yesterday (May 30) in New York City for his work on the album DAMN.
He has become the first mainstream artist in ANY genre to accept the prestigious award.
K. Dot received a standing ovation at Columbia University where the ceremony was being held, but did not give a speech.
