Marcus Johansson’s wife Amelia Falk gave birth to their daughter Mila in February of 2016. I honestly don’t feel positive they ever married each other. However, the entire internet seems convinced they did even though I can’t find a shred of evidence to support it. Maybe this shows modern cultural standards- people assume they married because they have a child. I do know they started to date each other a long time ago. If the wedding occurred at any point, plenty of years passed since they started to go out. People on the internet started to talk about them together way back in 2010. Plenty of mentions about them at Capitals events all the way back around 2011 and 2010.

Apparently it’s possible to spot Amelia in an episode of 24/7 from around 2010. I didn’t even try to find her in the episode because she appears only momentarily at a party. I can tell you the couple are certainly happy together and love their child very much. Marcus posts pictures of the baby and the lovely Amelia all the time since they’re both endowed with ample cuteness. The baby even wears a shirt that declares both her and Amelia are cute and Marcus is lucky. Marcus Johansson’s wife loves to hold young Mila for Marcus’ social media photos.

In January of 2016, Marcus and Amelia visited the White House. Marcus Johansson’s wife and himself come from Sweden. Occasionally they travel back to Sweden to visit family and friends. In June of 2014 they went there so Marcus could play some golf in a tournament. In 2014, Marcus competed in the Olympics. I don’t know if Amelia traveled there because he didn’t include pictures of her in attendance. I do know, however, they prefer to stay in Washington whenever they can. It appears they travel very little compared to many other hockey couples. That makes sense since it’s easier to take care of a child with a home court advantage.
