Ivan Perisic posted a touching farewell to Inter Milan after joining Tottenham on Tuesday, and both Lautaro Martinez and Alessandro Bastoni were among those to react. Two players that have been linked with a move to Spurs.
Perisic, 33, ends a seven-year stint at Inter in which he played 254 times for the Nerrazzuri, helping them win the Scudetto under Antonio Conte in 2020-21. He has penned a two-year deal at Spurs, believed to be £98,000 a week.
It sees the 113-time Croatia international move to the Premier League for the first time. He will provide competition for Ryan Sessegnon, with doubts emerging over the future of Spain international Sergio Reguilon.
Perisic posted on Instagram after a two-year deal at Spurs was finalised and done. He sent a heartfelt message to Inter Milan, underlining the joy had experienced during his time at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium.

Perisic will not have moved to Tottenham if he is not going to be a regular feature of the starting line-up. He is certainly not going to replace Son Heung-min on the left wing, so he will be playing as a wing back.
He did so under Conte during the 2020-21 campaign. So, he will replace Sessegnon in the starting line-up. Sessegnon has overtaken Reguilon of late, meaning the Spaniard is now third choice. Surely, it is curtains for him at Spurs.
Both Martinez and Bastoni, who have separately been targets for Spurs, responded on Instagram. Martinez’s message is translated as : “What a player, good luck brother.”
