Riot has revealed massive changes for K’Sante on League of Legends patch 14.4.
Patch 14.3 was a very special patch. The main reason for that is that it marks the start of the first event of League of Legends in season 14, Lunar Revel 2024. Due to this, we have seen many new changes and additions to the game.
In the previous update, we got the first champion of the year, Smolder. As for new additions in patch 14.4, we have seen new skins, event pass, accessories, etc. Besides these, we have also seen a lot of balance changes in the game. Similarly, patch 14.4 will be the second patch of Lunar Revel 2024. Additionally, it will also include some massive balance changes. One of the champions is K’Sante.
Since K’Sante’s release, he has been a balance nightmare. When he was first released, he had a very pitiful win rate. But even as time went on, his win rate dwindled in low elo. However, in the higher elos, K’Sante had a very high presence. So much so that a little more than a year after his release, he already got multiple small reworks.
These reworks completely changed the way how players play K’Sante. But still, he still remains one of the best versatile champions in the game. With that said, K’Sante will be receiving massive changes on patch 14.4.

League of Legends Patch 14.4: K’Sante Changes
- Base Stats:
- Base mana: 290 to 320
- Q:
- Does not slow during All Out
- W:
- Damage resist ratios: 50% to 70%
- Cooldown is no longer reduced during All Out
- E:
- Dash speed: 1700 to 900
- Ally dash speed: 1800 to 1500
- All Out dash speed: 2100 to 1450
These are some hefty changes. So, let’s talk about the simple changes first. K’Sante’s base mana is increasing. And for all the changes that we will talk about, this is nothing major.
Before we get into the rest of his abilities, I should first explain K’Sante’s ultimate. K’Sante’s ultimate transforms him from a tank to a bruiser. Additionally, it also changes his abilities as well.
With that said, in this patch, they only changed the All Out version of his Q. Now, it no longer slows down enemies. It is a huge nerf as K’Sante will lose some of his CC.
Next up is his W. While the Ratio is increasing, the cooldown reduction during his ultimate is now removed.
Finally, his E received the most amount of nerfs. Firstly, the regular base E dash speed and ally dash speed have decreased significantly. Not only that, the All Out version was also nerfed.
So, to summarize, his late game is getting nerfed significantly. Not only that, his mobility is also getting tuned down with the E nerfs. With that, we will see even less K’Sante in pro play.

These K’Sante changes will be coming out in patch 14.4, scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2024.
