MIDDLETON, Idaho (CBS2) CBS2 reached out to the superintendent of the Middleton School District, Marc Gee, and asked about how the district plans to make up snow days and if they consider starting late.

CBS2 reached out to the superintendent of the Middleton School District, Marc Gee, and asked about how the district plans to make up snow days and if they consider starting late.

"We have days builtinto the calendar we can use, but not many,"Superintendent Gee says. "We do consider delayed start as an option but felt the time needed to make roads safe for students would not have fit within a late start time frame.

The Middleton School District, and many others, closed school on Wednesday and Thursday due to snow. Gradual warming will continue through the weekend, and highs will likely approach 40 degrees on Friday before jumping into the low 40s over the weekend.
