Monalisa was born in Lonavala, near Pune and brought up there.
Parents : Her father’s and mother’s names are Rajesh Bagal and Minakshi Bagal respectively.
She has one sister named Ashwini Bagal.
She did her schooling from Vidya Vikas Vidyalaya, while doing her junior college from Lonavala College
She has completed her B.Com. degree. Later, she specialized in Marketing Management from Pune University. She even had aspirations to become a Chartered Accountant (CA).

Bagal made her debut in the 2014 film Sau Sashi Deodhar as Little Sai Tamhankar. She took break for 1 year after released as she wanted to become CA.
She made comeback in film Prem Sankat in 2016 with director by Datta Mirkute.
Later, she was seen in the movie Zhala Bobhata directed by Anup Jagdale in the role of Priya. Her co-star in the movie was the young actor Mayuresh Prem.
The movie received very good reviews, especially since Bollywood director Rohit Shetty decided to make a remake of it, soon as it was released.
