Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Jordan Pickford from Sunderland in the summer transfer window.
Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
According to The Sun, Newcastle are interested in signing Pickford from Sunderland in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Magpies are prepared to offer the goalkeeper a long-term contract and a weekly salary of £75,000.
The 23-year-old has been one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League this season, but as things stand, he will not be playing in the division in 2017-18 as Sunderland have been relegated to the Championship.
Pickford, though, told Sky Sports last month that he will never switch to Newcastle (click here to read more).
The Magpies are not the only club who are reportedly interested in the former England Under-21 international. The Sun has also credited Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and West Ham United with interest in the goalkeeper.
