Rangers midfielder says former Liverpool teammate could find it tough to turn down Barcelona.
Glasgow Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter has stated that he expects Coutinho to end up leaving Liverpool for Barcelona this summer.
Coutinho is a top target for the La Liga giants, who are looking to spend the money from their world record sale of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain.
Rossiter played alongside Coutinho briefly at Liverpool before swapping Anfield for Ibrox in 2016, and believes the Brazilian will find it tough to say no to a transfer.
The England youth international told Rangers’ official website: “Who is worth £100m? It is a lot of money but the way the transfer market is these days you would think you could put him in that £100m bracket.
“People see the goals he scores and things he does but for Liverpool he runs that team, he has been brilliant.
“He is going to go, when Barcelona come calling I think it is always tough to stay and say no.”
Liverpool are so far refusing to budge over Coutinho despite Barcelona making him one of their top two targets along with Ousmane Dembele of Borussia Dortmund.
Rossiter has had a tough time at Rangers himself since joining due to injury, but hopes to kick on and establish himself as a first team player this season.
