Many of the wealthy nobility sprang to their feet and greeted their title. The holy woman urged them to go since she didn’t know who they were or if they were wealthy enough for her to open the gates at that hour. Vikir was in the midst of them all.
Vikir used to frequently witness the holy woman at the forefront of combat before he regressed. He saw her soaked in blood, frantically tending to the wounded. Blood crimson marks marred her otherwise white clothing, and her divine strength shone on unceasingly. All the holy women he knows despise wealth and power.
When one person didn’t leave, Saintess inquired as to his whereabouts. Vikir bowed down and explained to her that he was merely a newborn lamb that had gotten misplaced. The door to the castle opened after he stated that, and the holy woman invited him inside.
