He was born on October 28, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Sam Walton, creator of Walmart, and Helen Walton and is currently aged 77 years. He is the oldest of four children. Jim Walton is his younger brother, and Alice Walton is his younger sister; another brother, John Walton, died in 2005.
Rob Walton went to The College of Wooster and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas in 1966. In 1969, he attended Columbia Law School for a Juris doctorate. Walton is also a trustee of Wooster College.
