SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – There’s still about two weeks left of summer, but that hasn’t stopped the snow from falling.
Bald Mountain Pass in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest got dusted with snow Tuesday morning as part of a storm moving across northern Utah.
Still images from UDOT’s traffic cameras show slushy roads on state Route 150 surrounded by a white landscape.
The storm also brought rain, lightning and thunder to Utah county in the early morning. KSL TV meteorologist Grant Weyman said the rest of the Wasatch Front should see rain as well throughout the day.

Weyman said chances of rain and thunderstorms will jump to 80% on Wednesday for much of the Wasatch Front.
Across northern Utah, hail and severe weather hit multiple areas Tuesday afternoon.
Hail and rain were reported in Logan, with quarter-sized hail falling in some parts of Cache County.
