As previously reported, Ashley Martson recently said goodbye to Jay Smith, filing for divorce from her allegedly dishonst husband for the second time.
According to a new report, however, the 90 Day Fiance star has already said hello to a brand new man.
We’re so very sorry, Jay!
“I’m really happy right now,” the 32-year old reality star told Us Weekly at her birthday dinner celebration at Playboy Club NYC on Friday night, dropping this personal and unexpected bombshell as follows:
“It’s nothing serious. [I] have found someone.”
Wow! That sure was fast!
Martson – who was, naturally, hanging out with Farrah Abraham at this birthday gathering – went on to say that that she met this unnamed man at an event.
“I’m in a much better place right now and surrounding myself with someone who’s honest and treats me well,” she said, taking a clear and direct shot at Jay.
Back in January, Ashley also filed to divorce Jay several weeks after he admitted to cheating on her. However, she withdrew this petition just 11 days later.
Earlier this week, though, Martson took this same major legal step and filed divorce papers once again in Pennsylvania.
"Behind every strong woman lies a broken little girl who had to learn to get back up, fix the broken pieces, and never depend on anyone," Ashley wrote on Instagram shortly after doing so, adding the following hashtags to her post:
#bossbabe #fixyourcrownqueen #womansupportingwomen.
Martson and Smith got married in May of 2018, but the relationship has been troubled by accusations of infidelity and inappropriate behavior ever since.
It’s almost as if people should not get hitched after knowing each other for just three months and being constantly followed around by cameras during their relationship.
But we digress.
“I’ve been a train wreck all week, but I’m trying to get out. I had my heart broken," Ashley also told Us Weekly of the split, acknowleding that "adultery" is the reason she has walked away from Smith.
We don’t know exactly when Jay seemingly cheated for at least the second time, but Martson blasted her husband on Instagram back on April 15.
"It’s all fun and games until your ass gets deported," she wrote at that time. "Have fun at the strip club with MY money and MY car."
She also wrote "Bye Felicia" and "Cancelled" in this post, as you can see below.
The estranged twosome appeared on season 6 of 90 Day Fiance.
They met while she was on vacation in Jamaica, remaining in contact after Ashley returned to Pennsylvania; Jay then proposed when she visited him six months later.
For his part, Jay has not commented on Ashley’s cheating allegations or her new divorce filing.
He took to Instagram on the same day that the divorce news broke and simply shared a few selfies, while randomly revealing that he was reading a book called “The Art of Seduction” by Robert Greene.
After withdrawing her divorce papers back in January, Ashley collapsed and was found unresponsive at home.
Jay subsequently rushed to her side.
“I may have hurt you," he then wrote on social media, adding:
"I may have not been a good husband. Jumping on a plane the second I found out you was in the hospital was something I didn’t even think twice to do. We have our differences but as long as I have life I will never let you sit alone and suffer.
"I love you and nothing will ever change that. Thank you for having me here to support you."
As for the identity of Ashley’s new man, we cannot say anything for certain.
However, Ashley documented her fun night out with Thursday New York Giants player Mike Cox, even using heart emojis around him in an Instagram Story video.
Could he be the one taking over for Smith in Ashley’s bed at the moment?
It seems possible, right?
Knowing Ashley and Jay as we sort of do, chances are strong that we haven’t heard the last about their relationship or its demise.
