Violet Jean Myers, age 59, of Bowling Green, Ohio, formerly of Wayne, Ohio, passed away on Friday
(September 12, 2014) at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio.
She was born on September 9, 1955 in Fostoria, Ohio to the late Durwood E. and Mary E. (Newmeyer)
Frederick. She married Larry Thomas Myers on October 24, 1972 in Wayne, Ohio and he survives.
Surviving are her loving husband of 41 years Larry; son, Robert C. Myers of Helena, Ohio; daughter,
Angela K. Banks of Defiance, Ohio; brother, Timothy F. Frederick of Mermill, Ohio; sister, Diana L.
(Ronald) Sams of Ypsilanti, Michigan; step-sisters, Vicky L. Dean of Bradner, Ohio, Victoria L. (Dave)
Richmond of Risingsun, Ohio; grandchildren, Hailey and Jason Hoteling.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Douglas W. Frederick.
Violet worked for Lamplight Court Apartments for the past 11 years as the apartment complex manager.
She enjoyed collecting ducks, shopping with her sister Diana and spending time with her family especially
her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2-5 p.m. Sunday (September 14, 2014) at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio.
