However, hellbent on proving his point, a reluctant Cody Rhodes went ahead. He came out with an arm brace tied to his left shoulder. Even after this, he managed to avoid a squash. He almost secured his second consecutive win against Lesnar. However, the 10-time World Champion was prepared this time around. He locked Dusty’s baby boy into his Kimura Lock, but just not for a while.
Instead, Lesnar tightened his grip over Rhodes and decided to hold the position for minutes. After squeezing everything Cody Rhodes had coming into this match, The Beast made his opponent pass out. The referee had no choice but to call for the bell. Just like that, The American Nightmare suffered his second singles loss ever since returning to WWE at WrestleMania last year.
