He also led the reconstruction, reopening, and subsequent operation of NYCB LIVE, which houses the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, and Manhattan’s famous Webster Hall during his tenure, expanding BSE’s venue footprint. Yormark was in charge of Barclays Center and NYCB LIVE’s operations, event programming, sales, and marketing while working for BSE Global.

Yormark, who joined the Nets in 2005, oversaw the team’s relocation to Brooklyn in 2012 and oversaw the rebranding that turned the Nets into a recognised global lifestyle brand. Yormark oversaw the move from New Jersey to Brooklyn and guided the team to first-place finishes in every significant business category, including ticket sales, merchandise, and sponsorship.

Under his direction, Billboard, Pollstar, and VenuesNow consistently ranked Barclays Center and NYCB LIVE among the top venues in the world for ticket sales in the entertainment business. Yormark opened the Barclays Center with eight nights of sold-out performances by the iconic rapper JAY-Z, who was one of the biggest names in music at the time. Legends including Barbra Streisand, Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé, Billy Joel, Elton John, Coldplay, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Pearl Jam, and many more performed at Barclays Center and NYCB LIVE.

On the sporting front, he brought professional boxing back to Brooklyn for the first time since 1931 and had hundreds of world championship fight nights held at Barclays Center. Yormark secured contracts to host the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament, and the Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Tournament in addition to games between many of the country’s top programmes, including Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, and North Carolina, among others. College basketball also became a mainstay in Brooklyn as a result.

Yormark spent six years working for NASCAR prior to joining BSE Global, where he contributed to the organization’s transformation into a significant sports brand. Yormark was chosen for the “40 Under 40” list by Crain’s New York Business twice, and Sports Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” list a maximum of three times.
